Coming October 2-4, 2008, Fashion Access, Asia’s International Wholesale Premium Fashion Trade Show, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Some 500+ exhibitors from all over the world, including Brazil, China, India, Thailand, South Africa, Hong Kong and Italy, among many other countries, will be presenting their fine collections. Trends and breaking fashion developments will be revealed. Trial and sample orders will be available in small quantities at sensible prices.
Best of APLF
More than an award, the Best of APLF awards have established themselves, after just a few years, as being rewarding in both business terms and peer recognition. A panel of judges, from fashion and design consultants to materials experts and department store buyers, selects the winners from several categories. Established primarily as a design and quality award, the Best of APLF has broadened awards categories, from products only, to include marketing and promotion breakthroughs. New awards such as the Tradition & Innovation Award and the Best Marketing Concept Award were created at last October’s
Fashion Access.
Following last year’s successful cooperation between APLF awards winners and the British School of Leather Technology, the APLF Fashion Award is repeated this year in connection with two design schools in the Czech Republic. These schools organized a design competition using materials provided by three of the 2007 award winners. The best 38 design products from the competition will be presented in the Design Zone, of Fashion Access, located inside the Convention Hall.
